Who is this for?

  • Junior and mid-level professionals who have not done any profile-building or have done some profile-building and are willing to put in the work over months and years to build a strong EB-1A profile.

  • Senior professionals or anyone who already meets two or more EB-1A criteria (for example, high salary and leading or critical role) and need to do a few months to a year of profile-building to strengthen their EB-1A case.

There will eventually be different tracks based on where you are in the profile-building process.

Career building services are the number request that I have been seeing in my legal practice, and providing these dedicated, separate services is something that I think adds a lot of value to immigrants like you who are striving for more freedom and flexibility. This doesn’t just end up being about immigration - it’s about your whole career and achieving personal satisfaction and outstanding outcomes for yourself above and beyond a single green card goal.

What's in EB-1A STRONG?

Monthly check-ins

  • Building a strong EB-1A profile that meets at least three criteria and passes final merits will for most of you take a few years (for senior professionals, a few months to a year is possible but for most junior to mid-level professionals, expect to be profile-building for at least 3-5 years).

  • To build a strong profile, you'll need to be regularly spending time working on activities that make sense for your profile and chosen field of expertise. Expect to work on activities for your profile not just for months, but most likely several years.

With EB-1A Strong, each monthly check-in will help make sure that you're on the right track to building a strong profile. That every month and week is spent on building a strong foundation for your profile.Every month, you will be expected to report back on the progress you've made on your profile by updating a document that will be shared with you. Amber will provide feedback on what you've done and what you can do better.You will also be provided with a few suggestions on how to continue to make progress.

Monthly presentations

Every month, we will host a presentation on an EB-1A topic followed by Q&A where you will be able to ask follow-up questions.Here are some examples of topics we will cover:

  • Building an EB-1A profile as a junior professional.

  • Strengthening your case for final merits.

  • How to meet the memberships criterion.

Weekly group calls / workshops

Every week, we'll be hosting a 1 hour group call (this will be a group video call) where you'll be able to ask questions and get realtime feedback on progress you've made on your profile (you'll also be able to ask questions during the monthly check-ins).We will be using questions from group calls to develop material for EB-1A Strong course (to which you will get access as part of your monthly membership).We will eventually have two group calls per week, one for senior professionals and one for junior and mid-level professionals.

Written answers to your questions

We believe that asking questions is the most effective way to learn how to build a strong EB-1A profile specific to your background, which is why in addition to weekly questions livestreams, you will have access to a forum where you can post questions and also learn from answers to questions posted by other members.We will review questions every week.

Regular live profile-building sessions

We will also be hosting sessions where you'll be able to talk through activities you're planning on doing and also get suggestions from us on activities you could be doing to work towards one or more of the EB-1A criterion.There will be at least two live sessions per week and you are encouraged to join as many of them as possible not only to ask questions but also to learn from others as well, especially from members who are in your industry and who you could work with for some activities like writing papers, organizing industry events, and judging competitions.You'll also learn in these sessions how to message top professionals in your field to learn about opportunities to get involved in and contribute to your field. Expect to be writing a lot of emails and messages throughout the profile-building process. You will be expected to regularly reach out to other professionals in your field to uncover opportunities to receive recognition and acclaim for your work, such as the chance to speak at a top conference about your field of expertise or the chance to join a committee at a top organization in your field. A lot of opportunities typically reserved for top professionals in your field will not likely be readily accessible, which is why you will need to start meeting more professionals in your field as a way to get recognized for your work and considered for these opportunities.

A course on the criteria and how to profile-build

This course will be continually updated and is currently in development. It is not essential to take the course first before starting to build your EB-1A profile (the monthly check-ins, questions livestreams, and live profile-building sessions should be more than enough to get you from no profile to a strong EB-1A profle assuming you do the work that's required).The course will be based on topics discussed in the monthly presentations. We will also occasionally be doing follow-up videos on topics presented in the monthly presentations.

Build together

Interested in writing papers? Organizing events? As a member of EB-1A Strong, you'll be encouraged to collaborate with others in the community on activities that can be done as a group.

Learn how to message and meet top professionals in your field

A lot of the opportunities that will significantly strengthen your profile will most likely come through top professionals in your field, which is why one core focus of EB-1A Strong is on teaching you how to message and meet new professionals.Through community posts and the live profile-building sessions, we'll be sharing email and message templates and tips on how to message top professionals in your field and how to use outreach as a way to source unique profile-building opportunities that are related to your field of expertise (or to your field in general if you're still a junior or mid-level professional).

Your instructor, Amber Davis

I started my immigration career as a paralegal in 2014, working on EB-1A cases for some of the most impressive people I had ever encountered in my career. After becoming an attorney, I continued working on EB-1As and now have a collective 10+ years of experience in this field. Throughout ups and downs, changes in the law, various court decisions, and working on more than 100 EB-1A filings to date, I have a solid grasp on the strategies that underlie strong EB-1A cases. There are many professionals out there that will benefit from EB-1A planning, and I am now excited to take on this consulting role where I coach people through developing their careers in a direction that makes EB-1A possible.
